21st June

In case you haven't guessed, the weather took a turn for the worse and we haven't done a lot in the garden for a while.  These photos cover the bits and bobs we have done in between patches of bad weather.

This area is known as the desert zone.  This of course is a computer plan of what we are after.  The water feature is to provide a bit of contrast - water in the desert.  The next picture shows the progress we have made so far.

From small acorns, large oaks grow.  We have to start somewhere.  The water feature has not been delivered yet.

This is a kind of desert plant.  It's an Agave Americana, kindly donated to me from a work colleague, Paul.  Thanks Mr C.

I told my daughter Molly, she could have this corner for her fairy garden.  She worked hard getting it like this, and it's a lovely addition to the grounds.

The welcome sign Molly made.

Plant-pot made from a car tyre and wheel.

A new split door on the summer house.

TV in the summer house, and nice new Roman blinds too.

Hmm, that hole needs fixing.  All the walls are going to be re-done.

The shed is getting cluttered again.  Old habits die hard.

Old tree, but rebuilt in to a sundial.  Well it will be anyway.
