Well, it's beginning to look a whole lot better, which was very encouraging for us. Not only that, it was a lovely day. We didn't have to lay any slabs in front of the summer house. When we finally cut through the six inches of thick ivy and other crap, we found slabs! All we had to do was level them up.
Somebody had the bright idea of using the three tree stumps as table legs. just cut them off level and nail a table top there. This table top is only temporary, we are hoping to have a slice of a large tree trunk on it eventually.
Shed exposed!
There is a downside.... You end up with piles and piles of rubbish. I can't believe we kept all this, just in case we needed it!
The mini-conifer garden in the middle of the lawn was tidied up, it made the garden buildings more visible.
